Hotels: For a shorter stay: the Ibiza Gran Hotel by the marina, the Nobu Hotel on Talamanca bay, or Six Senses in the far north.
Formentera: Half an hour by boat: white sand, clear water and lunch on the beach. A day trip, or a villa of its own for the week.

Tables and nights

Lunch at three, dinner at ten, and the night after that.

Beach clubs: Day beds and long lunches at Cala Jondal, Cala Bassa and Playa d'en Bossa, reserved well ahead in July and August.
Dinner: Tables in Ibiza Town, by the marina, and at the farmhouse restaurants inland, at the hour the island actually eats.
Club tables: Pacha, Ushuaïa and Hï: a table and a host, with the door expecting you, on the night you came for.
A night at the villa: A dinner or a party at the villa: the chef, the bar, the music and discreet staff.

Private jets: Ibiza airport has a private terminal. Slots are tight in August, so ask early.
Boats: A day boat or a yacht with crew from Marina Ibiza or Marina Botafoch, to Formentera, to Es Vedrà, or around the island.
Drivers: The island is under an hour from end to end. A driver for the week saves the taxi queue and the parking.
When to go: The season opens in May and closes in early October. July and August are the peak. June and September are warm, and calmer.
