Art+Film Gala

Saturday 7 November 2026 · the 15th gala

Since 2011

One artist,
one filmmaker

Each year the gala honours one artist and one filmmaker. Its proceeds help make film more central to the museum, and support exhibitions, acquisitions and education.

Co-chairs in 2026: Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Geffen Galleries

Peter Zumthor's David Geffen Galleries, built with SOM, carry the collection on one floor raised almost 30 feet above the street, spanning Wilshire. Pavilions below hold restaurants, the store, a 300-seat theater and the Keck Education Center.

The building on screen is an invented homage, not a model of the real plan.

The gala is the evening, with dinner and a musical guest. Tickets and tables go through LACMA’s Art+Film office. Invitations to private parties are the hosts’ to give; the table, the car and the company for the evening are ours to arrange.

The rest of the LACMA Art+Film Gala, arranged

The seats, a table for dinner before or after, somewhere to stay, getting there, and company for the evening. All of it, or just one part: pick the parts.
